“On Off Staffing group” UAB does not charge any fees or any other payments on recruitment services. Charge for recruitment services is prohibited by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

Depending on the client’s orders. It can take from a few days to a few months.

Are employees employed directly by the client in Norway?

A Lithuanian temporary employment contract is signed with the employees, however, their workplace will be in Norway, as well as the employee's taxes will be paid in Norway.

What additional documents are needed to start a new job?

The following medical certificates are required: Certificates 047A and 082A (for travelling abroad) issued by a general practitioner, preferably in English.

Does “On Off Staffing group” UAB reimburse accommodation and travel expenses?

No, it does not. Accommodation and travel expenses are covered by the employees themselves.

What is a tax deduction card skattekort?

Skattekort is a tax deduction card issued by the Norwegian Tax Administration, which is used by employers and NAV (the Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration) to deduct taxes. If you do not have such a card, your income will be taxed at a higher rate of 50%. The order for visiting Skatteetaten offices changed since 25 June 2018; now you have to book an appointment in advance and arrive at the scheduled time. If you visit the Skatteetaten office without booking an appointment, Skatteetaten staff will explain to you how to book an appointment.

Is it necessary to have a European Health Insurance Card when staying in Norway?

Do I need to renew my tax deduction card every year in Norway?

Holders of the D number (Norwegian personal identification number starts with 4,5,6,7 digits, temporary Norwegian identification number) must apply for a renewed tax deduction card (skattekort) every year. It can be ordered by the person or by the employer.

For ID holders (fødselsnummer, Norwegian personal identification number starts with 0,1,2,3, permanent Norwegian personal identification number), the tax card is generated automatically, however, it is necessary to check that the data on it is correct.

Customer experience shows that about 90% of tax arrears are due to incorrectly planned income and benefits applied to the tax card. Avoid arrears and renew the skattekort in December or at the beginning of January.
